We are a plantation of 5,000 hectares of oil palm with an Extractor Plant that processes all the fruit production of our crops and buys the production of another 22 producers in the area (approximately 5,000 more hectares).
Today, 60% of our plantation are high oleic oil palm (Elaeis Guineensis x Elaeis Oleifera), latest generation materials developed in partnership with CIRAD, which are highly resistant to pests and diseases such as Pork Shred and potentially productive with good agronomic management, reaching yields of up to 35 tons of fruit per hectare per year.
The extraction plant has a processing capacity of 30 tons of fruit per hour, works approximately 5,000 hours in the year and processes on average 135,000 tons of palm fruit per year with an average extraction rate of 22%.
We separately process the fresh oil palm from Alto Oleico oil with the objective of storing this crude oil independently to later refine it and split it into an external refinery. The main final product of this process is an Olein RBD from Palma de Aceite Alto Oleico, a product with a high content of Vitamin E, resistant to high temperatures, higher performance in fried foods and stable in cold climates such as the city of Bogotá.
The palm kernel oil extraction plant has a processing capacity of 70 tons of almonds per day, works approximately 8,000 hours in the year and processes on average 21,000 tons of almonds per year with an average extraction rate of 45%.
